Equivalent bolt pattern wheel shopping

New poster here, researching before I snag a CR-Z in a few weeks ...

I really want 17x7-inch wheels, but don't necessarily want to blow the dealer premium on the pricey (and not all that attractive, to me) 17x6.5-inch (6.5 inch? REALLY?) upgrade wheels. So I've done some research suspecting (and, now, knowing) that the CR-Z's lug pattern is the fairly common 5x114.3 (with Honda's typical 64.1mm center bore, I think?).

The following "sport" vehicles use the same pattern and roughly equivalent offsets (+35-50) stock:
- Honda Civic, 2006-present
- Honda Accord, 2003-present
- Honda S2000, all
- Subaru WRX and WRX STI, 2005-present

The following use the same pattern, have equal or greater center bore measurements, but may only have medium offsets (+20-35):
- Infiniti G35/G37 (all, though some models have medium offsets on the rear wheels)
- Mazda 3 (all)
- Mazda RX8 (all)
- Mitsubishi Eclipse (1989-present)
- Nissan 350z (2003-2008, though later-year models have medium to low offset on the rear wheels)

What I plan to do is scour forums for some of these model cars for a set of used wheels & tires for my CR-Z. This info could also be used to slap a set of stock wheels on your CR-Z ... for instance, I bet the S2000's stock wheels aren't prohibitively heavy, but I could be wrong (haven't done that research yet) ...

Anyway: thought I'd share. I'm coming from a 2010 370Z ... tired of 19MPG & the Z car's finicky mechanicals, though I'll miss the power and interior ...

^^a buddy of mine has these on his Mugen TSX. I considered trading him for my Mugen wheels. Also considered trading for a set off the TL A-Spec: 18" wheels w/black chrome.
I'd say go for the BasisSportTony's set of Enkei's off the EVO: $450 shipped that dripkit mentioned above :)

Good info to know

About the S2000's rears. I thought that car's rubber always looked REALLY offset ...

I think the value here isn't other manufacturers' OEM wheels; it's mild aftermarket wheels that some who own other makes and models have already sprung for but are getting rid of. Most of these makes won't have an OEM wheel light enough to work well on the CR-Z, but some may. Best to look for aftermarkets from makes that are used for racing/autocrossing like the WRX/STi, RX8 (some older RX7s have the right specs, too) and Civic Si.

Just some food for thought ... and yeah: I know it'll be a number of weeks before I get a CR-Z. Word at dealers is Japan's just now getting production back on line. Willing to wait ... question is: will the ones coming over be 2011s or 2012s?

Kami ... yeah, I could, hehe. NOT. I had a 2009 WRX before the 370z. LOVED that car. I'm sorry I got rid of it ... though its mileage also stank (20.5 MPG or so).
