Do you need a lift to install these? Or better question, what do you think a shop would charge to install? Do they have to take the whole engine out? My auto mechanic skills are Meh. In my life time I have installed only above engine stuff like a radiator, water pump, complete tune ups on older carbed engines. I done about 6 stero systems. On one car I removed the interior and put new carpet down. I doubt I can do engine mounts.

No lift required. If you can install a water pump, then you can install these mounts. A shop is going to charge you a couple hours of labor to put these in.

My mechanic buddy and I jacked up one side of the car to get underneath for the lower engine mount, but that was about it. The entire mount swap process took about an hour.

Keeping this thread TTT! INNOVATIVE MOUNTS GROUP BUY
Payment sent for 60A mounts. Anyone holding out should really consider these mounts before any other boost purchase. Either way, what happens if you don't use them? You'll probably get your money back from the members that are not able to get these mounts right now due to financial reasons, etc.

WE NOW HAVE 12 KITS READY TO GO! Please, if you still want a set, feel free to contact me, we can still add more and maybe hit our next quota for a price drop!!!

I'm super happy to hear that the intial goal's been met. I'm still really debating back and forth with myself trying to decide if I want them, but now I won't feel immense amounts of guilt if I don't buy in. Maybe just regret.

I'm just looking at my bank account like..."but with this money I could buy this other thing though!"

If anyone plans on adding boost sometime in the future, these mounts are an unavoidable necessity. Have a look at the post below from CRyoZ. The stock mounts are practically hollow in some places and will not stand up to the additional torque IMO.

This is what pushed me to get them. I will add boost in the future and if I don't have these mounts, I'll have to plead for another production run from Innovative. Looking at how hard it was to just get to the minimum quota now, it doesn't seem likely to happen.

:pP:

Thought it might help to share my realization, if someone's on the fence like I was ;)

On the 75A. I read quite a few threads on Innovative mounts for the Integras and Civics. It seems like there is a minimal increase in vibration (over 60A) with a decent increase in durability and strength. Especially in higher HP turbo applications, where heat might affect the inserts.

But we'll have to see how much NVH there is. My end goal is 300HP so 75A will be better. The HP goal might seem slightly unrealistic but I'll get there eventually.
