Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to install a grab handle on the passenger side A pillar. Perhaps from another Honda?

Any suggestions? Anyone?

An "Oh Sh*t" handle? You'd have to drill and that wouldn't be reversible. I say just use the one in the door.

This is exactly why I am looking for one.. although I also heard that the airbag is in that pillar as well? Has anyone pulled off the A-Pillar and see what is behind it? Any pics?

The side curtain airbag is there. You will keep it from deploying correctly. If you do put a handl there, and insurance finds out, they will instantly deny any and all claims due to tampering with airbag system function. Don't do it.

The 8th gen Honda Civic Coupe has side curtain airbags and those handles as well. They are not on the A-pillar though.

I like to mess with people by using double-sided tape to attach a grab handle. Then, I take turns really fast and when they grab the handle to feel safe, it rips off and then they REALLY freak out.

Has anyone actually followed through with the grab handles / "Oh **** handle"? My wife is -constantly- reaching for the imaginary one that she installed there when we purchased the car.
