JUST got done with the read!
And loved it! VERY INFORMATIVE!

INCREDIBLE BUILD!

Not trying to sound like a "typical for this forum" pansy, but I can't wait to hear about the fuel economy change.

I like the wheels BTW

I plan on keeping this car for a very long time; MAYBE I will one day get around to this.
Appreciate you sharing this with the crzforum.com community!

HAPPY DRIVING,
GOOSE

As for how much power.. A reliable and very clever man reckons the flow calculations point to 280+horse at the hubs (petrol engine alone) with the assist on top.. So I'm
Hoping for close to 300 by the time I've tweaked the IMA output as well. ;)
So how much boost are you raping the LEA engine with to get 280 HP cause I can guarantee that it's too much to be consensual lol.. 280 from a 1.5 liter is crazy. Are you expect reliability issues or anything?

Great build though. I wonder if you could use a GE Fit cam to squeeze a little more power out of it.

Typo by Mark I think in the blog..

Car was started on standard injectors..and throttle body to give the standard fuel and ignition maps a fighting chance..

I'm running a Hondata Flashpro and 4 bar Map sensors for boost..
Now it's running 750cc Injector Dynamics fuel injectors... Take advantage of the reduction in latency normally associated with regular injectors. Can time the injection event more precisely to find small gains there..;)

Wah, I wonder how much it would cost me to get my car across to the UK and have them boost mine as well. My only other option at this point is to drive my car across to Sweden for a HKS supercharger install. Is this a full custom thing or are they making this available as a package deal?

HiJacked Thread...:eek:fftopic:

The Bisimoto build is an impressive piece of engineering, but isn't it basically a drag car??

It runs Slick tyres and has more tubular roll cage than a Nascar.. some may like it.. Its not my Cuppa Tea.

It's an example of where the limit is.. it revs to the heavens (8000+rpms), Cant imagine that its ideal torque delivery for a road car??

I cant imagine that Screamer pipe of an exhaust makes it smog legal in California either.

8000 rpms isn't really that high. and I believe he is on street slicks. switch out the exhaust and it's legalish

Ya that's what I thought but did they sleeve the block too or just change the pistons and rods
