^ the best fit and look I have seen. Very well selected.
Thanks Scotty! It does get a lot of looks on the road now, my son is 13 and thought it was so cool when we drove through a gas station parking lot and everyone was checking out the car and pointing. I have tint on it now and I think it looks even better... too bad I couldn't get pics with that on, it's been raining nonstop here :cursing:

Anyhoo, not to hijack the thread, but thank you for the kind words!

If you have no rubbing problems, then this looks like about as good as you can get for a drop and big wheel/tire set-up. Well done!

I found this website that helps you analyze proposed wheel and tire combinations:

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

Very nice, does anyone know if the white cr-z is deeper and how much?

here is mine with 9x18 ET 35 and 225/35 in the back......

Hi Max,
Are you saying that yours rub in the back? All the CRZ's use the same sheet metal regardless of color. If I read this corredtly, you are tunning 18x9" wheels with a 35 offset... Those wheels are a full inch wider than mine and offest 10mm more to the ouside, so they would stick out almost 1,5" farther than mine do, and I am pretty sure those would rub on my car too,

Sorry it took so long Roddy, needed to wait until I got on my computer on the weekend.

Had 20mm spacers on back for a while, but didn't like the rub during large dips or bumps so have recently removed them. Continuing to lower again without spacers, but haven't found the correct height yet.

NOTE:
Rubbing in the rear seems to be primarily due to the rear fender securing screw mount at the top of the wheel well. This is problematic even when/if trying to roll them as the large piece of plastic holding the rear bumper will need to be pushed out quite a bit or ground down which is not ideal. This does not exist in the front fender well and should not be an issue if front rolling is necessary.

Hoi, i ran a 235 and felt some rubbing when going over bumps at fukk lock. The rubbing was at the front fender liner at about the 2o clock position drivers side theres a boxy chunk that comes out. I think it was that. Do you have any issues?

No I don't have any rubbing in either front well yet. I'll have to go check out the 2 o'clock area. Still need to do a final drop after removing the rear spacers and then sync the front. Will post final height after.

tirerack.com - they will break it all down for you. pick a tire, look at the specs and it will tell you the min and max width wheel it will fit on. unwise to run a wide tire for no reason though. the crz doesnt need super amounts of grip. (that cant be obtained with a stickier compound vs a wider and heavier tire)

btw this is a wheel fitment thread, not one for tires. :eek:fftopic:

edit : why my picture never appear?
I first host them on flickr; didnt work.
Now on photobucket, dont work either...

Yess.
at first, by hosting my image on flickr, the url of the picture was ending by something like .../18374650.
Then I look at the html code source of the forum page and notice that the url of the image posted by the others were coming from photobucket and ended by something like .../93746263.jpg
So I tought I needed to have the url direct from the jpg files, did it with photobucket, and don't work!

i think the french is hindering your ability to post pics!

i kid, i was actually born in montreal haha.
ninja edit: im also unbelievably jealous that you guys dont need front licence plates out there, nice cars just look so much better in quebec.
