It looks like you blacked out the barrel of the rim, and just left the spokes in silver, right? The wheel band or pin stripe would go on the lip of the wheel, just before the tire. Check Art's latest pictures - he has them in red on his wheels. Or look at http://www.crzforum.com/forum/wheel-bands/9826-what-wheel-bands.html They are a sponsoring vendor here. Although, a pin stripe would probably be just as easy, cheaper, and you could make it the thickness you want, plus get an exact match for the NSBP paint.

Edit:
Something like this:

Lots of ideas, for sure.
Mine would be the last picture. I think it would just give a subtle hint of the blue, kind of like leafvillage's Konig Deception summer wheels (only his are on the spokes):

My $0.02 only - and that's in Canadian funds!!

You and Cryoz competing?!
Apparently so, lol. I'm currently handicapped by all of my ideas reminding other people of orca whales. If I can dispell that notion, I might have a chance.

But at this pace, we might get a little fiesty at the Dragon :rotfl:

Thanks to the all great CRyoZ and his awesome idea/DIY write up...I think i'll keep my Blue interior Lights going and move to the outside and illuminate the inside of the grill :)

just need to find a weekend to do this...maybe in a week or two I can get around to it

How can I be a copy if I give you the recognition for the idea?
Yeah, I know, just teasing. I'm technically a copy cat too...the grill LED mod was done on 3 CRZs that I'm aware of. A blue theme, a white theme, and a red theme *elbows Holly*, it just wasn't very well documented here on the forum. Let me know if you need help with the DIY

I'm very well educated in the auto electrical world, I've been installing/working on lights and audio systems for a long time. So the wiring and install I did a little differently then you did, but the end result was just as awesome.
Although the color of my blue LED strips doesn't look as blue as my internal led lights...I'll snap some pics tonight to show

Yeah, there's alot of dark surfaces down there that soak up the light. I used some reflective foil tape on the underside of the radiator cover, and it seemed to help a little bit.

If you have your headlights on, its almost unnoticable unless you're right up close. Sometimes, I'll drive with them on, and I'll come up behind a shiny black SUV at a red light I can't even see them in the reflection because the headlights are so overpowering. Its really just a subtle light effect, not obnoxious like badly adjusted HIDs

Did you find a way to wire it other than drilling through the hole where the 6MT clutch would go?

No, that's the easiest and shortest distance to wire to the inside.

The four led strips I got, one was defective, so I only have 3 on. I'm going to get a hold of the company and try to get a replacement. If they send me all 4 again, then I'll really light it up, if not then I think I'm going to reposition the strips for better lighting. I used a ton of tin foil tape to help as well.

I also wired it up so in the (hopefully short) future I can get my matching blue led underglo and I can wire it all to the existing wires in the bumper so the toggle switch on the inside turns on and off the grill and under body lights :D
