Hello dear community

I've just installed a Teyes CC3 unit from China. This unit has some fortunes but the main reason was the price of about 650$. Actually sounds like a lot of money but look here what new functions it's providing to your CR-Z:;)
360° top and around view, High resolution Touchscreen, Backup Camera, TPS monitoring, OBD readings, Navi, Phone and Sound on Steeringwheel Buttons, Internet, CR-Z specific bezel for exact mount...
It was a hack of a work to pull out all the interieur for a quality installation! Now it's inside the car and it looks so cool. Makes realy good impression, even not everything is working right now.
Got to find the OEM Amplifyer wire to activate this unit for sound???
So if anyone knows what color the Amp activator wire is you're welcome to help me!

On the rear I've installed a second Sony HD Camera and another under the Windscreen. Got now six cameras on my CR-Z and a superb view of what's happening around my car. The TPS are working fine on my OZ Rally Rims. SIM card and Memory Card are ordered. The touchscreen is clear and sensitive, you can put multiple functions on your steeringwheel-buttons and it looks just modern. To get to the front I used the existing Rubber sealing as the OEM wires and made a new hole beside. (GPS sensor, 4G+5G+WiFi antenna, front camera.)
For rear two cameras I've gone thru the 1 inch hole at the center rear bottom of the body and sealed it. For side cameras i used the little black cover under the Mirror and fixed thees with an additional screw. It's not optimal but much easier then mounting them on the edge of the sidemirrors, if you want no outside wires. (Even with my 15mm spacers on the rear wheels the image just ends where the wheel begins, it's ok.)
For the rear cameras I made a little adapter and its fitting well above the license plate because there is a little void.
The front camera is just temporary mountet as I'm waiting for my seeker front grille and my jpd splitter.
(I'm gonna put some images and some long term user expierience when I'm done with the setup and the calibrating to use all functions.)

Cheers Pat

Hi Pondtreader, got this link but it's in German. Meanwile there is an updated Version of the CC3 with a Full HD screen!
The Bezel surface looks ok but I can imagine that is's not very robust to scratches. Be aware that the OEM hazard button and airbag indicators dont match. It needs some fideling to build them in nicely. I'll update if I got my unit working as suposed. Cheers and good luck!

There is an other Link for US but make shure that it contains the 360° view if you want this optoin. I aditionally ordered the Teyes: OBD Plug, TPS Sensors, Windshield Camera and Sony HD Rearview Camera (what I hope the fixed the bug with the new unit)

Awww niceee followed. Love to see some more posting about the TEYES - if you have any questions let me know because I love messing with this thing. I’ll post the SIM APN settings after work if I happen to remember. Having a SIM card with the TEYES literally made my experience 3x better. No hassle with personal hotspots and such
