Here is a cheap, simple mod that adds a nice touch of personalization to your car. Just take off the plastic engine cover and do whatever you want. This is one of those mods that is only limited by your creativity. I just added some spray paint and a vinyl decal (my car name) I ordered from makeadecal.com... Total cost was around $35

Does this cover come off easily?....I am going under the hood for the first time to add my Typhoon when it comes....didn't want to tempt myself too much, but this caught my eye as a nice mod to personalize under the hood for sure...

This was done in his own style...this was shared with us to give us something to think about, not criticize...if you like to do yours in red crinkle paint, do it and show us how your style differs...there are infinate options one could do....his was just one

People are going to call rice on it, but haters gonna hate.
Any mod should go with the flow of the car. The curves, body style, paint, etc. Any color theme should match the body paint color, black and white being the exception.

But really, you shouldn't give a crap what people think about your ride. The second you doubt something, don't do it. That's your subconscious saying "This ain't right".

Looks good bro! I did mine about 6 months ago...

Leftover Rust-Oleum High Performance Wheel Paint & Clearcoat (metallic graphite). I masked-off the Honda and IMA areas so it wasn't just "all grey". I love how it matches the SSM color of my car. My son did his in Bronze to match his Sparco wheels.

Good job to both of you and I've gotta remember to get this new VHT wrinkle paint that's out, they make it in red AND blue, the blue is what I'm going for. I will post pics when its done:thumbsup:

I think you guys are all still coming up with great ideas, I may have mine wrapped to with CF vinyl but gotta find out if it can handle it. I don't think this part gets too hot but someone asked earlier and I too would like to know, this would give me a second option.
