Anyone know how imminent it is to get the service done? My b13 code popped up last night but I probably won’t be able to do
Anything until Friday. (6 days)

It shows up with 15% to go you will be fine for up to two weeks( or longer) . There are those that don't even follow the minder and do the maintenance more often.

B – Means to replace engine oil and oil filter. Also inspect various systems and components (see applicable service manual for details).
1 – Rotate tires, and check tire pressure and condition. ( I recommend Cross rotation unless you have directional tires)
3 – Replace transmission fluid and transfer fluid (if equipped). ( has this ever been done? Don't forget the hidden filter no dealer knows about and was mentioned here if you have a CVT. Use only Honda CVT fluid!)

On top of minded issues I recommend Brake fluid Flush and Fill every two years as Brake Fluid accumulates water and that can cause an issue.

Please note many dealers will try to sell you more than the above and additives, flushes etc. Don't Fall for it it is all a scam.

If you have the owners manual set( usually in glove compartment) there is a maintenance book with it that if you are lucky will tell you when it was serviced and what was done. If you do not have it you can buy most of the set here http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result....lm&Mfg=AHM&Make=AHM&Model=CRZ+&Year=&Category=&Keyword=&Module=&selected_media=

Proper maintenance is very important and will allow you to enjoy the car for a very long time. I hope my answer was not too long winded.

  • Thank you very much for the info I’m new to the car game and have only had my crz since January.
