Just curious. I see a lot of people have their own build threads here and I was wondering if there are a lot of people here planning to keep their car stock?
I'm keeping mine stock.
I'm keeping mine stock.
And why is that exactly?Just OEM add-ons and bolt-on accessories/upgrades. Absolutely no mods to the engine, drivetrain, or suspension... ESPECIALLY not while any part of the vehicle is still under warranty!!
Yeah you may want to take yours to a shop to have them work on it :lol:Just learning how to take out the tail lights to paint a black line on the edges will be hard for me
He's in the netherlands Scotty, shipping is a pain in the wallet and they get taxed on it too I think.Ouch.. Maybe you can get some vendors here to get stuff for you and shipped for a lot cheaper..
All the more reason to mod it! :wavey:I agree, it's nice to put your own personal touch to it. But in my case, I'm not planning on selling mine (hopefully ever :grin![]()
A short ram intake isn't a bad start. Or just a performance air filter from K&N, AEM, or Spoon. If you really want to do dirty and easy you could do an axel back exhaust. My 2011 CRZ EX w/Navi and 6MT is entirely stock. To be honest, I've contemplated installing a K&N air intake, but I'm not much of much of a car person beyond detailing. I've looked at some of the DIY instructions, and while some are incredibly detailed, they still remain a bit daunting to me. My car is completely paid off, but I'm rather hestitant to do something to it that extends beyond the paint.
Any suggestions for relatively inexperienced guy to get into modding?
Yeah that's insane.the OEM spoiler is 300 US plus 70 US shipping plus 60 US taks, but I am saving on gas so buy buy buy![]()
