Anyone notice extra interior storage on the 2012 models? I was watching some youtube vids and noticed that there was an extra storage pocket directly under the 3-mode drive system near the foot well. I have a 2011 and there is no storage, but rather plastic molding as you can see from my pic.

That's not a storage pocket on my 2012. It's the fuse access panel.

 

The small rectangular one is a open spot on the European and Japan markets if I remember correctly.

 

No storage there on the European 2012 model.

The small upper square is where the parking sensor button is placed. Lower bit is fuse access, as stated.

mines my fuse box cover but also doubles up as a coin pocket or mobile phone holder
