REMUS Center-Exit Exhaust

I've been thinking about this exhaust also.......with that taper and the two 90 degree bends surely have an effect on the power output compared to a traditional system.
well as there is no stock before and after dyno comparison, no idea how much ull gain from it tbh :(

It tapers down to meet the stock CAT2 pipe. If you are going to want to meet up with your CAT2 Delete aka Test aka Down Pipe, then some cutting and welding and maybe a new flange is going to be required. If not wanting to have it cut on, I would recommend putting your stock CAT2 back on as opposed to all the back pressure you will get connected to your larger Downpipe.
But it does not need to taper down to 1.75" only 2" the stock cat2 i.d is 50mm/2" not 1.75"

So it would actually reduce gas flow
My cat2 delete pipe gave me 4hp n 6ft lb torque on the dyno, the car is also soon due to be fitted with the stage 2 hks supervharger system and i need maxium flow, thus meaning pipe size needs to stay the same or larger not taper down to smaller than oem.

well looking on the remus uk website the picture of the exhaust does not look like it tapers down as in the pic above so now im confused, im gonna give them a call tomorrow and ask them if it does of see if i can go there and have a look at one before i purchase.

Firstly hate to revive and old thread (sorry) but im uk based and remus uk are 30 min drive from my house, im seriously thinking about this exhaust but the 1.75 bit u mentioned, u say its a simple fix, just what exactly did u/ do u do to fix it, i have a tegiwa uk 2nd cat delete pipe 50mm diameter or 2" and if like it to be 50mm all the way to the exit tip?

Just got this exhaust in today. A few points I wanted to make since I didn't see anyone really talk about it.

-The exhaust is well packaged and arrived un-damaged.
- It is really nice quality, every thing looks great.

Now I have one bad thing I want to address. Where the exhaust connects to the downpipe there is a HUGE bottleneck in it. The whole exhaust is 2.25 ID and the flange at the down pipe is 1.75 ID. I guess it has to be that size to connect to the OEM downpipe, but for me that is not the case. Luckily, that is a simple fix. Also when looking inside the pipe that goes into the muffler, you can see that it is also choked down a little as well.

Other than that, cant wait to install this.
