This site states 309 is best used for exhausts
Application

But when comparing 309 vs 304 you won't find much of a difference as far as car exhausts are concerned.

Add me to the list, muffler only.
Perhaps you meant "exhaust only"? You have been added. Thanks.

Sound clip if anybody is interested of the intake and exhaust that I recorded...

Group buy list:

1. Leitz (Exhaust only)
2. marcl211
3. Triptych
4. shawnfrontier
5. ****
6. ****
7. ****
8. ****
9. ****
10. ****

I'd figured I'll add myself and see what it sounds like when I'm at the dragon. Then I'll go from there.
Adding you now! Exhaust only right? Thanks.

Is this kit cool for California (CARB certified and all...)?

Wish I waited a few more days... I ordered both a few days prior to this post... Exhaust is amazing, I got the SRI on last night its amazing will be finishing the CAI this weekend. For this price I wouldn't have thought twice well worth it.

Thanks! Glad to see you are enjoying it.

This exhaust system isn't a perfect fit for the 13+ CRZs. How many would need to be in on the group buy to get a minor adjustment for a perfect fit on the 13+?

We would need (10) 2013's and a car to redo the exhaust on. It would most likely be a 3-4 month process.

The fitment on the 2013's isn't horrible. Yeah my diffuser melted a little...and I mean a little bit. You can't see it unless you crawl under the car to look. For all it's worth, you could probably bend the hangers a tad to angle it down.

Also...A good majority of people I know with different cars, bought "higher end exhaust" and they have melting also. It is just something that comes along with modding cars. The car wasn't designed to have a larger exhaust tip. It was designed to fit around the stock tip.

I'm not to worried about it since I have a good friend of the family that can help me modify the tip so it won't melt.
