I had a back up camera and Kenwood dmx4710s installed in my 2011 CRZ ex the other day. Its working fine, the thing is i dont really like how its so deep into the dash. Is this something than can be easily fixed with a mounting bracket or something that holds it more forward? Unfortunatly i have zero experience with this sort of thing. Any feedback would be apreciated.

I ran into the same issue with my aftermarket head unit as well.
If yours is anything like mine, it's supported from the facia by either plastic or metal brackets that are secured to the sides of the radio with screws. All you have to do is drill out new holes that sit further towards the facia and secure the radio through them. You may also have to dremel out some of the inside of the frame of that aftermarket facia to allow the radio to sit further forward.
Something like this (this isn't exactly what's in your dash, but same principle):
