I had a back up camera and Kenwood dmx4710s installed in my 2011 CRZ ex the other day. Its working fine, the thing is i dont really like how its so deep into the dash. Is this something than can be easily fixed with a mounting bracket or something that holds it more forward? Unfortunatly i have zero experience with this sort of thing. Any feedback would be apreciated.

Unlikely to be simple to revise. But you can see for yourself fairly easily... the entire bezel can be pried out from the top (open the lid above and start with plastic levers to prevent damage to the edges. See photo - there are three main push-in clips across the top (circled) and one or two on the sides that will come out once the top ones are pulled out. They are quite stiff, but be persistent and careful, and rotate the top of the bezel toward you, it will pivot on another support at the bottom, the lift up and out. Take care not to scratch the silver trim below it - padding it with a towel is a good move. The radio in the photo isn't your model, but the bezel mount is set in the same. Once free, you can examine the mount and see if some modification occurs to you to try. I'd say unlikely, but finding out should take only minutes...

Thanks for the feedback, ive never done this sort of thing. I thought maybe you could fit a bracket behind the head unit to move it forward slightly and frame it so its more flush with the dash. I took it to a shop to have it installed and im not 100% in love with the job they did. After i drove home i noticed a hiss, after a few hours of research i realized the EX has its own amp and the kenwood is likely putting out to high of a signal for it. I took it back, and told them i think i need an amp interface to fix it, they took it back and didnt put in the interface, they got rid of the hiss but there still a slight buzz. Im annoyed with this shop because i paid alittle over $800 to have it done professionally and theres still some audio issues im experiencing. Do you have any advice about something to fill these gaps about the face of the head unit? They arent terrible but id like the fill them if possible. Here's a picture, its like this on the top too.

I ran into the same issue with my aftermarket head unit as well.

If yours is anything like mine, it's supported from the facia by either plastic or metal brackets that are secured to the sides of the radio with screws. All you have to do is drill out new holes that sit further towards the facia and secure the radio through them. You may also have to dremel out some of the inside of the frame of that aftermarket facia to allow the radio to sit further forward.

Something like this (this isn't exactly what's in your dash, but same principle):
