Looking for some wheel spacers, preferably a pair of 15mm and a pair of 20mm or 25mm. Must be high quality ones, not looking for cheap, no-name ones which may have issues.
Thanks!
Thanks!
You mean scrub radius is important?!I have a pair of H&R 25mm spacers. Will DM with details.
If you want my best advice (and keep in mind, this is against my interest in selling them to you) the best combo of spacers is 15mm front, 20mm rear if you are trying to get the best of appearance, handling, and not rubbing. I was on 20mm front/25mm rear and lowered, and the spacers came off after less than 100 miles because it rubbed too bad on the front and rear. With 20mm on the rear and no spacers up front, it didn't feel like it handled right so I took those off.
well... yes, and no. the only reason it mattered in this instance is that the wheel liners are formed for the path the wheel takes at the initial scrub radius. I did the math at the time and I only changed the scrub radius by like 5% so it wasn't a massive change. You mean scrub radius is important?!
Well, "ideal" is not only a bit subjective but also depends on what wheels you're starting out with. You're not gonna want to run 17x9 +0 wheels with a 20mm spacer but a 20mm spacer may be perfect with a 17x7 +50 wheel. If you want my best advice (and keep in mind, this is against my interest in selling them to you) the best combo of spacers is 15mm front, 20mm rear if you are trying to get the best of appearance, handling, and not rubbing. Ideal *on OEM wheels with +45 offset 😂Well, "ideal" is not only a bit subjective but also depends on what wheels you're starting out with. You're not gonna want to run 17x9 +0 wheels with a 20mm spacer but a 20mm spacer may be perfect with a 17x7 +50 wheel.
This is a CVT, daily driver, so I'm much more about looks and comfort with this car than performance. I have an Integra prepped for track when I need to scratch that itch. With the CVT I just wanna look good and save gas![]()
