Does anyone know what kinda rim/tire size we can expect? Are we looking at a normal 15" or possible 17"? Maybe even 19"?!?...or maybe wishful thinking

Judging by pictures the rims look pretty big....I'd say at least 17s!!
As long as they are a bolt pattern that people can swap them out for aftermarket ones, thats all that matters. Not a big fan of the ones in the photos so far.
Won't be able to afford aftermarket...so hoping the stocks will be nice big rims
19s would be awesome!!!! But those of us that have winter...good luck without changing the tires!
what would be way cool is if 20" might fit snug up under it !!
16's seem to be the stock, with a 17" option at least in Europe. My experience with Honda NA is that they tend to offer fewer options in terms of accesories though..
lol wouldn't 19s be too big ?
it'll be way too massy for the little engine to spin =p
Not sure if that is true..
Not sure if that is true..
Smaller rim = less unsprung weight, less inertia, lighter tires.

Take F1 for instance...the rims is just big enough to clear the brakes.
I don't see them putting on 20 inchers.

Big is for bling.
Jup its mostly for the bling, but what about stability issues? :)

lighter is the main key for me

ps: You don't have to buy a CR-Z for its performance ;)

Stability? Small rims don't mean less in width if that is what your referring to.
You can go as wide as you can. For street..i would go 215's.
well if your going really small then the tyre wwould have to have a bigger sidewall. that naturally would mean more flex and less "stability"

but then again i don't think that that would be a big problem. as long as you don't use like 14 in rims =p

so overall i think if you use a decent size rim with sort of a low profile tyre, then it will give very good performance. the rim won't be too heavy and the sidewall won't be too big =]
i had an 04 ep3 i kept the stock rims on it... used tokico blues h&r springs (2 inch drop all around) and spc camber kit and it looked so sexy. the crz is a hatch.. so id say if they are stock 16 ... stay 16 or go +1 max... but thats just my 2 cents... it also depends on wheel gap and the over all look that your trying to get. ... if i had crz id drop it just like the ep ... make it sit nice and low... =)
Here in UK standard size is 16", the extra-cost alloys are 17" (and gorgeous).
Anyone know the offset of the 16inch and 17inch?
