more than likely it's an 8" sub and 6" speakers...
i changed the sub out of my Si with the Pioneer 8" flat sub only 2" deep... had a lot of bass... in fact, it was too much for the stock location... my headliner and entire rear deck shook like crazy... and that's even after adding sound deadening

IMO, if you're gonna add more bass, just go with a whole box setup and don't try to utilize the OEM fitment b/c you probably won't get the results u desire...
