I knew when i bought the car that is the main feature to save gas. I Have the CVT so no clutch. In situations where I am waiting for someone I just turn the key to accessory 1 ( so I can listen to radio) or off.

Generally, it activates once the vehicle speed drops below 19mph, and the clutch is held in or neutral is selected. I've found that, while at a stop, if the handbrake is engaged while the clutch is depressed at a stop, the engine will not start up again even if the car is in gear (which I think is cool and good attention).

My issue was trying to get it to activate while already at a stop, but I couldn't figure it out. I'll look back into the owner's manual, but maybe I just need to make sure AC is off and I'm getting those above conditions, which I don't mind.

I don't mind it. I was curious about how to enable it more because, at the time, I was waiting on a co-worker that would be inside the building for a few minutes while I'm waiting outside -- there's no point for me to keep the engine running during this time, so this would have been idle-stop's perfect opportunity.

The members that have had the issue( Luckily The Speed Bump hasn't done this yet) have noticed it on the side facing the sun and it is the handle itself.

As for all the rubber seals on all the doors trunk etc I have wiped silicone spray on them to keep them from freezing closed in winter but that is just a good idea for any rubber that contacts metal to keep from sticking.

I noticed this happens when the weather is warmer. Does anyone know the cause? I thought it might be to do with the rubber door mounts sticking to the car body. But the handle does feel like it's about to break when the door is stuck.

I really dont like how the only clock in the whole car is on the stereo. Wish it was in the HUD somewhere like the info on the bottom right of the display. Would have been perfect. Oh and the lack of hp.
Swap in an aftermarket stereo and you'll get the MID clock.

I think the clock is fine. All my previous Honda's have had the clocks in the middle of the dash. At least the clock is clear enough. Don't know why you would need more than one clock.
Maybe Honda should have put the clock in the dash readout where they display the temp.

Or get one of those Heads up display devices for your cell phone ( or that plugs into the OBD 2) that sits on top of dash and projects useful information on windshield.
Not to say what you provided wasn't useful, but

That's what I'm saying....its an inconvenience to look over at the stereo clock when it would be nice in the HUD but your passenger could still see it on the stereo. Yea my gsr had the clock in the middle too but at least it had it's own spot with nothing around it to distract you.

My friends CRX had two clocks he put a postit over the one that was the wrong time and moved post it rather than resetting for Daylight Savings time.

Apparently when you put in an aftermarket radio a clock magically shows up in the dash or the MID.
