I got mine in November (live about 15 minutes from the factory store too!) and have had NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM MOVING AROUND! The quality is first rate as always and is a must for the car IMO. I will take them out in the spring as I don't wanna cover my Strut King dead pedal and don't wanna notch out the WeatherTech's because it would just make it easier for dirt to get through there and to the carpeted floor.

Weather your in a snowy climate or one with both rain and snow, these are the ONLY way to go, the fitment is spot on and like I said, NO MOVEMENT even though they don't anchor to the OEM mounts.
I definitely need to pick these up before I (maybe) move back to upstate NY at the end of the year!
how do these handle dirt, sand, mud, smaller particles mainly.

my mountain bike trips usually end in filthy carpet.

and my beach trips usually end in a small beach of a driver seat

They've handled all the snow and grit that winter has thrown at mine this year, the best $109.00 you can spend on the car to keep the interior clean. These are the Digi-Fit models, not just the regular floor mats like others offer. I've cleaned them out once this winter and just rinsed everything down the drain with a little scrub to make them extra clean, no problems.
Just received mine on Thursday - They fit perfectly, and look great...

I do agree with another poster in that they do shift - at least on the drivers side -
about 3/4" back and forth -

They did need to come up with adding the retention system on this design, but I also think that they did not do it because on the Prius Forum, many people were complaining that the opening for the factory retainers allowed water to soak the carpet and defeated the point of the floor mat itself...

I guess that they loose no matter which way that they go...

All in all they are well worth the money spent to keep the interior like new...

I have these mats and I do notice some movement. On closer inspection it looks like the anchors built into the carpet are loose.

I noticed movement with the OEM carpet mats too so i don't think it's an issue with the weathertec mats, it's a problem with the anchors.
also: if you put the lock switches on the anchors to the vertical position, it helps reduce up and down movement.
