I received my black weathertech floor liners for my red CR-Z. They seem to have a design flaw in that they do not utilize the OEM floor liner locks nor do the supply their own.
This in my opinion is a glaring error in two respects.
1. This is very unsafe because they slide around with foot pressure.
2. Because they move they distort and become misshapen.
Their own instal instructions tell you to use the OEM locks when installing the liners. They just didnt design them to utilize them. Unpleasant oversight.
I have attempted to contact weathertech to address these issue but have not received any response.
Come on weathertech don't let us down by producing such inferior products. I am a former customer and was really looking forward to these liners but as of right now the Honda rubber liners are a far superior product and are presently back in my CR-Z. My WT's on back in the box ready to go back if the don't have a resolution to this issue.
It's my opinion not to purchase weathertechs CRZ floor liners until they resolve this locking/safety issue.

BQ
