Yeah I don't mean to argue with you on the subject. I absolutely agree to have these codes read and confirmed on another device prior to clearing them as I agreed above. That thing is giving some strange readings but it could be a number of things with the myriad of OBD readers/firmware/software and compatibility.

And yes if the code comes back after clearing, no matter the method of clearing whether it be clearing by disconnecting battery, clearing with a third party OBD scanner or clearing with official or bootleg HDS, then you have confirmation that you're getting a consistent malfunction. Cause a lot of these codes can intermittently trip up randomly and erroneously and like you often say it's better to confirm it then to get a specific code, panic and start throwing money/parts at it.

Let us know how the fuse check goes OP.
