Specs if youre unfamiliar:
Enkie
Fronts: 16x 6.5 55+
Rears: 16x 7.5 65+
Weight: 17lb/18lb respectively

My thoughts were thinking about a CR-Z running 4 rears. Purely for the 7.5 width. Not to mention its original OEM equipment. Spacers probably a good option.

Any thoughts about seeing them on the CR-Z? A nice drop maybe to set them off

Spacers yes and probably some 215/50s but Im thinking the look may be worth it.

Depending on how much the AP1s could be had for. $400 for a set of decent rears, powdercoat/ refinish, under 1k total for oem rims and tires....

...just a topic for discussion

i was looking into 16" wider rims at the beginning. i couldnt seem to find a good tire size that matched stock really well with regards to outer diameter.

There are much more options in 17"

You will need spacers as mentioned. otherwise its worth a try...

Only problem is you will have a hard time going flush. A 20mm spacer brings you back to stock. Youll need one hell of a spacer to be anything close to flush. approx 40mm

The hubs on the front BARELY rub. I tried my extra set to see if I could use them for autoX and they JUST touch (and shave a tad bit off) on the fronts. The rest was fine. A tiny bit of trimming or even a Drumel tool would make them fit.
