Sweet the wrap looks good
-Thanks Dice, yeah, you're suppose to drill and bolt it on, but i didn't want to make any holes in my car, plus it's feather light. I got some really strong 3m tape.Steve, love the Seibon CF rear spoiler. How did you attach it? Did you use 3M vhb double sided tape?
Thanks Chris, yeah it really does go great with this color. Those wheels were made for that color Z. Looks great!
Thanks Todd, I like the Zeta, especially because of the price compared to the OEM one. It's sturdy for the most part but if you bump it while driving it sometimes starts to turn a little bit. What I did was get some of that material that keeps rugs from slipping. I cut a piece of that and put it around the base of it where it slips into the cup holder and it makes it a lot more snug.Nice build. How do you like that zeta armrest? Is it sturdy?
Yeah, I agree. You do lose a bit of visibility. How long did you have to wait to get yours? It took 2 months to get mine. Although I got it for a pretty good price. Finally received my Seibon rear wing and installed it today. Only thing I don't like about it is the reduction of rearview visibility. Other than that, I really like the looks of it. Compliments the Z really well.
Thanks realtallshorty. The wheel color looks great on the SSM!
Yes it took almost 2 months to get mine too! Apparently Seibon had to make them first. Was probably from the same batch as yours! Mine was $340 with free shipping.Yeah, I agree. Did you 3m it or bolt it?
Yeah, mine didn't come with any hardware or instructions either. The guy I bought it through called Seibon and asked about the installation and they said "Just take off the OEM spoiler and it will fit right on those bolts." Who the heck is going to buy and install the OEM one only to remove it so they can put this one on? Oh well, The 3m works fine though.Yes it took almost 2 months to get mine too! Mine didn't come with any instructions or hardware, so after searching, I decided to use 3M VHB tape, leaving gaps so that water could drain. None of the local stores had any, so had to order it from Amazon, delaying my install further by 3 days!!! I did prep the surfaces by slightly buffing them with emery cloth, then cleaning them with rubbing alcohol.
Couldn't believe how light the wing is, the packaging weighed more than the spoiler. lol. No worries about the hatch closing by itself.
All said, very happy with the quality of this product, ease of install, and the visual accent it gives my Z.
Lookin' good! :hump:Installed my OEM side spoilers and mud flaps.
