Hello everybody!

I've had my CR-Z for about 2 years now, it just hit 100K miles, and I use it as my daily driver to go to university and to go to work. I'm not really knowledgeable on car parts and mechanical details, but any help is appreciated. Just recently, i've been hearing "thud" sounds when I turn the steering wheel to any direction. Also, as I turn the steering wheel, I feel as is something is hitting agaisnt the wheel along with the sounds.

Have any you experienced something similar before?

Any ideas of what could be causing this?

100K miles these days on OEM suspension is very good. it sounds like something has failed or just worn out. It is time to take it to a certified mechanic or suspension place and replace what has failed or worn out. Unfortunately you are dealing with worn parts and they do not heal they need to be replaced.

It could be a lower control arm ( or both) or Ball joints and or other suspension part(s). Others here may know more. Have you had a knowledgeable mechanic or suspension shop take a took at it?
