front splitter looks like it means business.

best part:

"GO: turbo charged engine with intercooler - increased IMA output 25hp 65tq"

looks like IMA has some room to stretch its legs.. from the wording it sounds like the stock IMA system was left intact minus increases in output.

OK. Cast an eye over the spec sheet Gents..

The Battery Cells are not standard NiMH, they are custom Nickel Cobalt Magnesium.

The Pack Voltage is not the standard 100.8V the output is 173V...

So it has a custom BCM (battery control module)

The MCM (motor control module) is not the standard Honda Item but a custom item...the automated control of the IMA motor to provide assist to the Petrol Engine i.e. the Three Mode Drive concept has been abandoned for a Manual Driver operated 'Push to Pass' effort. i.e. a button on the steering wheel.

The only thing that is Standard it would seem is the IMA motor itself. (so far as one can tell) With the output nearly doubled :) Which shows how conservative the Honda Engineers were when designing the CRZ IMA Drive in the first place.

I cant stop thinking rice with that spoiler....but it looks to be bolted and actually I think I see an adjustable arm on it and why with everything else in it I am sure they didnt go buy some random spoiler for looks, but it just seems so overly over the top...maybe a lil more subtle next time lol

I doubt it. I contacted the makers Mission Motors, after seeing the car race around the Le Mans 24 hours last month. They only work with OEM. Not enough money in supplying the aftermarket. :dunno:

I'm going to work on making some sense of the IMA CAN bus communications between the MCM and the ECU (using a CAN bus analyser to sniff the CAN Bus Hi and Low lines). Once I have an idea of what messages across the bus mean, I can then look at my own Lithium battery, BCM and MCM. Then one can start upping the current and voltage to the IMA motor for more torque than standard without errors appearing on the dash ;)

Where can I get HPD kits installed? Honda service dealers or goto private body shops?
You can purchase the parts and have them installed by a Honda dealer, or purchase them elsewhere and have them installed by yourself or a shop of your choice.

College Hills Honda has HPD parts up on their site: HPD: College Hills Honda
This link is to 2011-2012 crz. Go back to "CRZ Accessories" menu on the left so you can select 2013-2014 if that is the year crz you have.
