Any advice for the first timers? I've done a small amount of auto X with my cousin. And not in my Z. I'm sure take it slow and all of that.. Maybe make sure my lugs are tight. What about some secrets that the veterans think are obvious that may not be?

Holy friggin' cow! I just reserved a room at the Microtel in Robbinsville.

I guess I got nothin' better to do this weekend so I thought I'd take a drive up to the mountains with my sporty car and try not kill myself.

I'm from Atlanta but have to work right up till maybe 4:00 pm on Friday, so to get there before dark, I'll have to "fly" (under the speed limit, of course). Will the main group be back from the "road to nowhere" by then?

Oh, and I updated that googledocs spreadsheet. Is there anything else I have to do to Sign-up to the meet?

--- one last edit --- is there an inexpensive walkie talkie that I could buy (where?) before going that is compatible with what y'all have.
