Just for curiosity I found out to ship my car so I can take part in the Dragon is about $3k from Hawaii. Tempatation is a vitch! Lol. So total about a 5k trip for me. Hahaha then I woke up.

Yeah... I only get 5 days of vacation a year. I've already used one, two are for my anniversary and then I usually use on for black Friday and one for the day after Christmas.

Wow, only five vacation days?! That really stinks! Personally, skipping Black Friday for this would be SO worth it!

I'm generally out of town visiting friends and family during Thanksgiving, so I'd be leaving on Wednesday night after work and coming back on Thursday night to work Friday and then heading back out to wherever I left my wife after work on Friday.

Take a sick day.

We don't get sick days. I get 5 "personal days" that I can use on vacation or sick, which also means, the only other guy who knows how to cover for me works a 12 hour day to do his job as well as mine.

I do the same for him, so we have a few agreements, like we don't call in sick, we don't take the first or last day of the month off, we give each other a list of our daily tasks that absolutely need to get done that day, if one of us is out, the other person is welcome to call/text us at anytime during the day, etc.

Maybe. Probably. I contacted some of the vendors and told them about them meet. I asked them for some schwag or products that we could give out as giveaways/raffle items and a few of them are sending me some stuff to be distributed at the meet.
