Does anyone else have this issue? I have fine swirls / scratches on the glossy black panel pieces that surround the temperature control and side mirrors.

Its very noticeable when the sun hits them. Is there anyway to remove those scratches? Any recommendation on what to clean the interior with? I have been using a soft terry cloth!

you can try buffing the scratches out either by using a plastic buffing compound or using a blow torch to flame polish it.. I would recommand 1st choice unless you know how to use torch well,..

I used a cheap mirofiber towel in my civic to clean the glossy parts and ended up with scratches.
In the CRZ I use a swiffer dust magnet which works fine. After that I use Meguiars ultimate protectant. Car looks like factory new inside!

ya. use a microfiber cloth to wipe it, dont use your fingers to wipe the dust or you'll make marks. if the marks are still there after wiping with a cloth then try the polish ideas.

Mine too, it is Sad that a box of cereal can fall out of the bag and damage the plastic.

This is my one major bugbear with the car. Not so much the plastic on the dash (although it is a real dust magnet - particularly noticeable if you wear polarized sunglasses), but the panels and trim around the doors, which seem to pick up scuffs and scratches all too easily.

Fortunately a quick wipe with a damp cloth will remove all but the worst of them, but it still looks untidy much of the time.
