I have the same issue. Feels like your sitting closer to the door than the middle. When I get my car back and put the interior back in, I was going to notch the rails also. The car has a new feel with the new seats.

mount the gopro right next to the rear emblem and have it facing the ground. thats what i did and the sound came out pretty good. i had the same problem with my gopro video i made. when it was in the hatch it had a hollow sound and the vibration messes with the quality. once you start moving the vibration sound goes away

i like that trick to get the extended lugs in without removing the hub. i need to put that in my memory bank for future reference

ive been lurking on the forum from time to time. every time im on i always have to check in on your build thread. you definitely have the best crz build in my opinion right now. makes me wish i still had mine all together. keep up the awesome work and looking forward to see what you have planned in the future
