I know anything is possible, but how hard would it be to install a 500w amp w/ a line driver and 2 12in subs? I would have it professionally installed.
would i have to press the clutch in all the time and keep the motor running at stop lights? would it be a good idea to get a capacitor to help with draw from the amp when the subs are thumping? i am not sure of the ramifications if i get this installed..... help plzzz..... thanks ahead of time for any replies....

I got a 600 watt amp and 2 10 subs installed with no problems. I do not hav a capacitor on the sub box. It will not cut out when the car goes into auto-stop mode.

You need a D series amp. One for each sub. I'd also recommend a Dual battery setup with Optima Yellow tops. You can find Dual battery kits at a lot of off road shops or maybe stereo shops.

Do you have Navi?

Imo 2 12" subs is way too much for this car. You'll likely end up sounding like all the pos's where all you can hear is rattle.

I have a 1200 rms amp pushing 2 10's hooked up with a line out converter and a 1 farad capacitor, i hooked it up myself and honestly it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to do my set up and about 2 hours to fully hook it up....so am guessing an audio shop should have no problems doing this job...at first i had no problem with my car going into auto-stop mode but after breaking in my subs i started to push more power to them i noticed my headlights were dimming at all stops...so to keep the car from going into the auto-stop mode i always keep the defroster on, ofcourse adjusting the temp depending on the weather of each day. after this i dont get any dimming of my lights when the vehicle is stoped.
