It definetly looks as good as it does in the accessory book!
A quick razor blade is needed to trim the subwoofer section.
Other than that it goes right in perfect in seconds!

Looks good. Does it keep the milk from pinballin back and forth on the way home from the store?
A gallon of milk is tall enough that it could still tip over without sliding. Next to other items though it won't be a problem, since those won't slide either and will keep the milk from tipping.

Before I got the tray my laptop and lunchbox would slide all over, with the tray they don't move an inch.

Mine came with the car. Works extremely well keeping items in place.. Well, unless you're in sport and taking the turns 20+mph over recommended...

Are there any after market ones available yet, one that covers the whole back area with the seat-things down flat?

The factory one is cheap and thin, its a rip off.
I have to disagree for a couple reasons.

1. You're gonna pay a good amount for any part this is injection molded.
Especially parts that are OEM accessories. You have to expect that.
2. It's certainly not as thin as you say it is. I've found it to be very durable.
I agree that it wont hold up to sharp objects but, then again, what kind of
stuff are you putting in your hatch...lolz :rotfl:
3. It's not cheap by no means. You get what you pay for.
It's an injection molded piece that is designed to fit perfectly and not move
around under load. And a big CR-Z emblem is molded into it as well.
I believe it is absolutely worth every penny.

For $69.00 from HandA.com, you really cant complain....

:yeahthat:

It makes clean up a breeze, saves wear and tear on the interior carpets and liquid spillage.

My '06 Accord has one and still looks like the day it was bought. Washes down easily and it held up great for 5 years.

Did not hesitate one second to put one in the CRZ.
