Hello guys,

So i decided to loose the low powered USB cable already provided with the car and install a USB charger via the power source outlet (cigarette lighter). It says it's for power only.
So when I plug it in, nothing. When I plug in a different USB charger, nothing.
So I figured it must be the fuse.
I inspected the fuse according to this thread:

The fuse seemed to be okay but I still changed it to be sure. 2d row, 4th. 20A.

Still nothing.

I'm running out of options. Could there be something else I overlooked?

Take a meter touch both contacts in the auxiliary power socket if you still get nothing when the ignition is on or in accessory and the fuse is good you may have damaged wiring. If car is off that socket is off. It is only on when car is running or the key is in accessory ( radio on). This is similar to other foreign cars.

In summary the auxiliary power socket is switched with the ignition. Was key in switch and car running or in accessory 1? If not there is your issue.

The problem was easier to solve than suspected.
I managed to get the accessory socket out with a plier. After inspection I concluded that the negative wire wasn't connected with the upper part of the socket. After soldering it in place the problem was solved.
