Haven't posted here in a while. I'm not sure if this is the proper place, but I'm having an odd squeak coming from my CR-Z as of late. It seems to happen more when I'm turning the wheel. I had a mechanic check it out in terms of joints, wheel and tie rod. He couldn't find the problem. I know it isn't the brakes since it doesn't sound when I apply them.

It also sounds like it is coming from the right of the car when I turn the wheel to the left. And it doesn't always make a sound which is odd. I also admit my car is coming up on 93k soon. Has anyone come across this issue before, and if so, were you able to resolve it?

I've had strange squeaking when turning at full lock and it turned out to be the tires squeaking (on asphalt).
Can you post a video of the squeaking?

Read the reply. In terms of getting a video, I don't have a proper camera to record footage of the sound coming from the car. I can say that upon driving it more and more, it sounds lie it is coming from the tires. But it also seems to sometimes shift like it is coming from the other side as well. Very strange.
