Well, I bought one of Peters magic meters and found my useable is only 21% !
So.... here we go...
I have made up a charger and also a discharger.
I stripped the boot out to reveal this :- see photo.
I guess the 'T' bar needs to come of first?

I have no metric allen keys for the two small bolts nor a spanner to fit so they are on order.
Pleased that I am in no hurry!!

Well, I got T bar off, boy those torx 30 were tight! Got two plugs out the back and the cover will pivot BUT at least one bolt, possibly two under the main plastic trim! You can see one bolt centre left on 2nd photo.
How the heck do you get the trim off?
I'll maybe drill through???

Fan fitted and running. Struggling to find the outlet but I'm sure it's fine.
Just waiting for drier weather and will put my cv outside with the hard top on. It's a bugger with just a single garage! Thanks for all the comments.

Mmmmm, hi Peter. I've run through the whole post a couple of times but there are a few that go a bit off track. I've done it as per your original video, I thought. Cannot see how to expose the exhaust end without removing side panels.
Edited to say :-
Oh rollock, yes, of course.... the inlet/outlet are just push fit to battery box!
Chemo brain :)

Not to worry, I have a digital thermometer 'gun' thing and will keep an eye on it.
I'll report back in a few days after a charge/discharge cycle. ATB

Been charging an hour now and up from 112v to 117v. Hottest part is the led driver at 34C, casing above battery is at 17C Air temp is 13C
Watching and waiting :)
Edited.
6hrs in, up to 119v. Casing Temp > 15C, driver temp 36C.
Air temp 12C. Still no fan in use.

8 hours in, voltage now 117 ?? Temps stable. Of to bed with fingers crossed :)
Final check before sleep and 12 hrs in shows voltage dropped to 116.6 ???
Air temp 10, battery casing at 15/16. Driver has one edge at < 30, main body is around 25C.
Hope I haven't lost a cable connection.
Rubber gloves do not make it easy to check! Goodnight.

22 hours in and still only 116.5v
I'll give it the 24hrs then investigate if one of my wires has come away by comparing battery with driver output..... but how to put driver under load to compare :(

116.6v. All connections seemed good.
Perhaps my drivers are no good. They give 150-160v with no load. Anyone tried these?

UPDATE:-
Voltage down to 97 after 18 hours, then 88 after 24 hours. Noted a sudden fall occurring after that, dropping a volt every few minutes. Lamp went out after 26 hours, It was reading 17v and dropping fast so switched off and removed bulb.
Will fire up chargers again in an hour or so,,.

Sorry about that amateurish bulb holder :) . It is well away from any prospective shorts and just a way to hold and see.
Charging started again circa 17:30 yesterday and from 17v showing, basically it went to 89v straight away, 92v after 20mins then 95v after an hour. up to 108v at 9pm then as I slept overnight it was up to 114 at 8am, 115v at 11am but only 115.7 at 2:30pm. 21 hours in.
I shall check again at 5:30pm (24hrs). I shall then disconnect and use the obd11c&c to check and set to 75%.
Maybe even go for a run out !! but maybe not as the weather and me are shite||
I'm hoping this information is useful to anyone thinking of going through the procedure or any one who wants to compare??
If not, tell me and i'll just bugger off ?? I had not realised that all this was like, 2 years old!!
I'm so slow :)

Got < 116.8v. Seems maxed out at that.
I had set soc to 75 a few days ago.
Tried to set uc to 75 by right shift. Confirmed by right shift. Said wait 5 seconds. Then wait 11 seconds. Did..... still says uc is 21.
Given up. I'm not so well just now plus frozen hands in 10C temps due to CIPN.
Any hints? ........ I'll catch up tomorrow.
Cheers.

Ummmm? What exactly does that mean Peter?
I started the car. It seemed I had not depressed the clutch enough 1st time... odd I thought but on declutching fully it started.
I'm never sure whether to test with ign. on or off or with engine running.
Please advise.
Sorry about my ignorance of the process :)
