UPDATE PAGE 14

Hey guys,

You've already seen some images and videos of HKS's new supercharger for the CR-Z but this month they recently released prices to the Japanese market so we should be getting prices soon :).

Anyways here some details:

  • Uses HKS GTS4015 centrifugal Supercharger, similar to Rotrex and Vortech SC
  • You can safely have 200 HP and 193 FT-LBS (though you can push more)
  • Currently only for Manual Transmissions
  • SC only weighs 7.7 lbs
It comes in 3 different kits:

  1. "Setup Kit" - Super Charger, SC Oil Cooler, SC mounting Brackets, and Intake pipe flange (basically for those who want to customize pulley, ECU, intercooler, and how the pipes run)
  2. Complete Kit "Step 1" - Setup Kit, intake and blowoff pipes, SC pulley, intercooler and all necessary pipes/brackets, and F-Con iS+OSC
  3. Complete Kit "Step 2" - Step 1 and upgraded injectors
They also recommend upgrading your spark plugs

I'll keep you guys posted as I get more info.

so are they releasing the F-CON?
so are they releasing the F-CON?
not sure how HKS-USA will package the kit and if they'll use the same F-Con iS + OSC used in Japan, and were you just wondering if you could get the F-Con alone?
yes bc im looking forward to fabricating my own turbo kit.
subscribing! keep us posted.

thank you.

if you're looking for the F-Con iS that the SC kit uses, then HKS already sells a universal kit:

HKS USA F-Con iS

if not HKS also sells the F-Con V pro which you could also use

HKS USA F-CON V Pro Ver 3.3 (more)

I hope that helps, once I get updates on the kit and if they will sell a CR-Z specific F-Con I'll post updates
quick conversion says around

$4500 stage 1
$5100 stage 2
so I was reading some more on the HKS japan website and they recommend upgrading the internal when pushing 200 HP

so actually the kit has been out for a while but its been in a lot of testing because HKS is/was scared the stock internal cant handle the extra power
Anyone selling these with direct shipping to Norway atm? My main concern is to find someone that can do the tuning of the thing. Guessing they don't come pre tuned for nordic climate :p
Update: HKS USA is working on fitment for the US Spec CR-Z, currently there are some fitment issues so they're working out those problems. Once they have any updates I'll let you guys know :)

Compatable and carb legal please
so far only manual, sorry
I noticed that the Complete kits already come the intake, am I right in believing the current HKS RSK is the same one? If that's the case, say, if I were to buy the Complete Step 1 kit would there be negotiating prices of it without the intake? Or would I need to buy the set-up?
Sorry for sounding vague because I'm in a rush lol

It does not come with the intake, its the intake piping that comes in the kit, sorry I was vague about that
