My CR-Z has taken a rear driver side collision from a reckless driver (I'll spare you the colorful language).

I'm trying to identify what this dangling box is. It has two cables or hoses connected to it. It has become detached.

On board computer is not detecting any faults.

Looks like the EVAP purge filter. A bit over a hundred dollar bill.

Look here to identify parts Genuine OEM Honda Parts and Accessories Online - Honda Parts Now if one of the other members is not familiar with that part or talk to a body shop and ask if they can look it up in the crash book.
