why you put 18" into CRZ it just makes it slower, larger rotating weight,
the car is not a beast on 16 or 17 but why 18" ?
I assume the reason to change the oem wheels is make it more angry or just change the way it looks.
Of course we can make rear wheel wider to get closer to the edge of the body but why you go with 18 "
it is like making a boob job to grandma...
I will order 17" but think about size for rear, do not want to go wider than 215 cause it also slower the car

Thanks for these charts, def helped me out w/ my wheel choice. I'm pushing a little past what I prob should, but where's the fun in it if I dont. :p
You're welcome, and thank you for actually using them and not just posting "will these fit?!?!?"

Might I ask what sizes you're going with?

What size????

I am really trying to undestand wheels and rim sizes but cant seem to grasp the concept. I've read this message board asked around and everyone has something different to say. the look i'm going for is to have the tire flush with the car and not have any space from wheel to car as I am rollin on the stock 16'x6 wheels. I also dont want to lower my car. I was thinking 17x8.0 / 5x114.3 / +35 or +47 or even 17x9.0 / 5x114.3 / +37. I was considering going 18's but read on here it would slow up my car and definitely do not want to slow my car down what do you think? Please your input would be great!

I can spend hours searching for this answer, or just ask for forgiveness and just ask.....I am staying with stock ride height, I want to go with the widest 18" wheel/tire combo that will be fender flush. I also would rather go with lower offset in rear instead of using spacers.....what combo would accomplish this with no rub?

I am looking at getting the following used from a local seller. Will these fit without rubbing? I don't want to do any fender work either.

17x8 MB Motorsports WP-789 Rims (+42mm Offset)

225/45/ZR17 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW Tires

Any input would be great! I don't want to loose this great deal. Thanks!

Still a newbie on cars and was wondering about the xxr527's. Lookin at 17x8.25 + 25. What size tire should i throw on them to clear a 1" drop. ???
205/40-17

Camber kit in front, remove rear bumper screw & shave off plastic if necessary. With 1" drop youll be safe but it wont look right with those wheels, need to slam it.

Is there any issues putting wheels with these specs on the crz?
I just don't know much about wheels except that lighter is better and wider on a slow car is only good to a point.
