Hi Folks,
Any reason our CR-ZS have only one section (left side) of insulation under the hood.
I cannot find any aftermarket solutions. Any suggestions??

Eh, never noticed - gas powered engine block is on the passenger side?

Got to do with positioning of the engine. It should be directly over the heat source, which is positioned more to passenger side

I just noticed that the Honda Insight has a full hood insulation with the same motor as the
CR-Z!!

Think of it as a "feature". Lets the throaty growl of the engine come out!

arent they supposed to fall and smother when there is a fire? Maybe a newer design that would hopefully stop a heavy electrical fire.
