Hi all. I have a HPD CR-Z. As the title suggests, I am looking for a 17" rim to go over my HPD calipers. I prefer using Honda OEM wheels if possible.

The reason I want to know is because IMO, the 18" HPD rims are too wide to use with the winter tires I want (Blizzak/X-Ice/Nokian). With a 17" rim, I can get down to a 205 in width.

I've searched the forum, but the few entries I found don't instill me with the confidence to spend over $1k on wheels that may not fit.

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can provide.

These look aight and are 7" wide (can fit a 205 easily):

Then there are these but they are 8" wide:

Are the HPD calipers just the 11.1" brake package from the Civic or 2016 CR-Z?
Think it might be the 300mm (11.8") rotor and 4 piston calipers.

RSX Type S is also 300mm so should fit.

Ohhhh, going to need a wheel with massive spoke clearance. Hard to find a wheel with clearance for the 4 and 6 piston calipers and maintain a sane offset.
Whoops forgot about that.

How can I know they will fit around my HPD calipers without buying them?
I couldn't find any specs on the stock RSX Type-S wheel clearance. Might go to a local junkyard and just measure it directly there.
Then get two straight edges and measure how much room you need on your hub.

That's probably the way I'll need to go. When I get some time, I'll take a wheel off and get measurements of the HPD calipers and rotors so I know approximately what wheel clearance is required.

Then, maybe some kind soul on ebay or the RSX forum will measure their wheels.

I was hoping someone went through this already so they could share their experience.

By the $470 price tag, you would think the stock 17s would fit over the HPDs.

I'll update when I get the measurements. Might be a few weeks.
