Good afternoon guys and gals.

I am on the hunt for an L15a cyclinder hear so I can do the cam swap in my Z.

I've come across the L15Z2 which in the whole, bore,stroke,hp etc looks identical. The intake manifold is all plastic rather than half alloy half plastic.

The motor in question is a 2014. Can anyone tell me if there are any major difference in the PFI L15 engines??

This isn't going to answer anything, so sorry in advance.
The major difference is that I don't believe we know. A7 is known to work. Honda designed essentially the same head to work on both the LEA and the L15A7 to save money. L15Z2 is a generation newer, so Honda may have changed any number of little things that would make a swap more difficult. Maybe they didn't, but it is going to take someone gambling on a Z2 and finding out if it does or doesn't work to know for sure.
