it's not, but u said just to hold u over til summer. get one or the other lol! tell u what, if u get the K&N now, and want a CAI later, i'll buy the K&N off of ya.

the K&N will be fine on this car. the apparatus that directs the air to the filter is so damn long that most particulate won't even make it there. i'd personally recommend removing the silencer, etc, before installing any intake, including this filter. also, i think that this filter would provide a gain of more like 2-4 whp.

i'd need to look again, but it looked like my accord, where the air actually travels through long tubing bending around many engine components, and passing through multiple chambers.

any change in driving style shatner? that alone would convince me to buy this, but my experience has always been that a CAI or filter change has NEVER increased MPG. in fact, by providing more/colder/denser air, the ECU will increase fuel and MPG will suffer. please enlighten me.

i drove my accord v6 soft on my CAI for several tanks and never noticed any improvement whatsoever. still, i'd like to try this, couldn't hurt. how does it sound? any different?
