I bought the 2 way speakers, here. I had to drill holes to mount them and had to use spacers for all four too. I like the way they sound, I can pick up on strumming on acoustic guitars when I couldn't before. There are much better speakers out there, but these fit my needs and budget.
what rear wheel spacers are you running? I know I need 5x114.3, Id like to stick around 10mm, I don't want to have to do any trimming since Im staying .75" higher than your drop. Im only spacing the rears, Im happy with the look of the front with the 45mm offset
If it's not too much of a secret, what did you use to make the side diffusers and is the Bumper duct functional on the CR-Z(directing air to the Typhoon)?
Thanks and nice work!
Its been a while since I visited the forums so I figured I should do the obligatory update.
I haven’t done much to the car in the past few years expect get better tires and swap out my suspension setup for something better suited for daily driving.
I swapped out my D2 coilovers for a set of Koni struts paired with Swift Springs to make the car easier to drive in every day.
After driving them a few months I can say they are not as harsh going over pot holes as my D2s were. They even handled better than I expected on the tail of the dragon. I still think fully adjustable coilovers would be the way to go just not for the amount of driving I do around Atlanta.
Hey everyone. I just picked up a 2012 Z last weekend and I'm looking into suspension improvements. After extensively searching (I don't wanna be the guy asking the question that there's 100 threads on), I couldn't find anyone talking about running Koni shocks/struts with Swift springs. Is this...

Lo and behold, after a 2 year hiatus youre back with exactly that.
Could you elaborate on 'coils are the way to go'? What's better bang for your buck between your current setup and coils?

That's sort of my line of thinking. I put around 50 miles a day on the car through PA roads. As someone who will probably not be getting multiple sets of wheels etc, I'm thinking the struts/lowering springs is my best bang for buck. The most recent picture you posted is with the new suspension setup?

Getting rear ended for a second time is not the way I wanted a Monday to end. After talking to my body shop guy I believe there will be a silver lining in all of this. He thinks he’ll just replace the hatch AND the rear bumper, which means I can ditch the bayson r spoiler without leaving mounting holes exposed.
Is that a mod with the integrated(?) tailpipe on the diffuser trim, or did the rear-ender shove it up into it? Nice that you'll be getting it fixed like new.
What else did you do while replacing koni shocks and struts? I’m on same same top , I feel like I’m missing bump stop rear side , do I have to swap oem bump stop to konis?
