Hey everyone, whoever sees this post. Just needing some assistance on this supercharger. I’ve considered one of the Turbo Kits but it’s too much for me. The supercharger seems to be a better preference for me plus it’s just different and seems to be unseen. But as someone who has little to no experience I would not know how to install this mod at all and I am too afraid to mess anything up in my Honda crz. So far the only mod or closest thing to modding was putting wheel spacers and that’s it. There’s many things I want to do with the car. But I want to start doing performance before looks, cause I mean why have a good looking car that doesn’t sound good and can’t keep up with some cars. Can anyone tell me the installation process of JR supercharger should I do it with possibly some of my buddies or get a mechanic or automotive engineer to do it for me???? Please help.

Jackson Racing isn't the best option for most people. A friend of mine knows someone with that kit and it took months to fix when it broke. The best kit is the HPD supercharger kit. Next would be HKS. Those are the more common options available for these cars. HPD is expensive but extremely reliable. HKS is more affordable and can have different pulleys installed to increase boost if desired. My car has the HPD supercharger kit.

Okay thank you I will note the HKS and the HPD, I would probably save up the hpd one cause I am all about the reliability of the CRZ

You can take a look at my build thread with my car and its supercharger here:

The real question is, is your CR-Z 6MT or CVT? I don't think it's worth boosting a CVT transmission unless it is with the discontinued Sprintex supercharger for the CR-Z. The CVT transmission can only handle so much before you risk it breaking. If you got the 6MT, you have a good number of options, for a price that is.

The HPD is still available...
I didn't say definitely, I said probably.:p
And for $5400 plus shipping, traction fluid and the install you might still be better off trying to find one that's already complete. Also, Jeremy at College Hills Honda said that there is an issue finding the Honda branded traction fluid. But there are alternatives.
Also #2, I need to Make a Better Effort at saving my Christmas and birthday money so when the time comes I can make the properly informed decision between the HPD supercharger and a j35 swap.

Why stop at the j35? Do the j37, lighter with it's aluminum cylinders and moar power.

Dimensionally it's exactly the same as the j35.
Hasport is currently working on a j35 6-speed swap for the CRZ and older civics. I'm not looking to kill myself while driving it, just looking to outrun the CSi and FiST. And maybe surprise an EcoBoost or 2.
