Hi people, just got my first crz-s 2010 model. I am in the UK. Great fun car. Drives lovely. Just a question on the display. It does not show anything on the cluster apart from speed and rev counter. Is this normal for my model? There is no fuel gauge or temp gaufe displaying. Also the lighting seems weak on the left side of speedo, is this something I can remedy? All the adverts I have seen shows more than this. I attach a photo. Any help would be appreciated馃

Do the cluster check procedure. I'll post it up soon. Looks like the left side of the speedo is not illuminated?
May be a bad ribbon cable in the gauge or some bad connections.
There's also a possibility of an eeprom fail, but that looks different.

1. Push and hold the SELECT/RESET knob.
2. Turn the combination light switch to ON.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4. Within 2-5 seconds, turn the combination light switch to OFF, then ON and OFF again.
5. Within 5 seconds, release the SELECT/RESET knob, and then repeatedly push and release the knob three times.

Should light up completely.

Here is a thread with a few different listings of what fuse is what. Please note I am in US and so are my sources but they should be similar for the major circuits. A simple test light or a cheap meter can help you determine if a fuse is blown or pull the most likely fuses and see if they are blown it will be obvious when held up to light.. Also be aware that there is a chip that is part of the fuse box and if you try try buy a new fuse box they are very expensive but others have found them used for much less.

It could be but never hurts to check for fuses. We have had a few new owners with fuse issues and a few others who have had to replace fuse boxes. Otherwise you are looking at a dealer visit especially if you just got the car and it is not working. That would be something I would discuss with the place you bought it from.

Sounds like the MID (Multi-information Display) may not be working or is set as dim as it goes. Do the buttons on the steering wheel do anything to that display at all? Check your owners manual for what your car has. If you do not have an owners manual, I presume just like the US it is available for free to view on a website.

Here is one page from my 2013 owners manual about it. Being you are in a different market and have a different year you may not have the same functions. At minimum it should show the Odometers.

I happened to drive my car today and looked at the dash the only other thing you could look at is the brightness of the cluster it should never go to 0 but turn the knob all the way to the right and see if that makes any change but it is most likely a cluster failure.

Thanks for the help gents. I guess main dealer here I come

They can only program new clusters I think. EEPROM can be copied with 25$ in tools and some computer/wiring craftiness.
Or just swap the chip from one cluster to another, some SMD soldering required.

Definitely a failed cluster. Not only is one half of the tachometer dark, the little IMA symbol and the numbers are dark too. I wonder if it is a bad solder connection in the cluster. Your best bet is opening the cluster and checking it. It's already half dead so you don't have much to lose.
