I've been taking off decals from my CRZ windows this summer. Today I removed the ones on the big hatch glass window. Looks a little less childish now. I loved decals when I bought my first Honda, a '98 civic

This morning when leaving for work I think my CRZ nearly stalled. Turned it on, put it in drive and feathered the gas cause the RPMs like to dip close to zero during first acceleration on a cold engine. Stopped feathering for a second when it started to move. That's when it stopped dead cold even when I feathered it again to get it moving. It never shut off the engine, but when the drivetrain seemed to "catch" (I could feel the mechanical jolt when it did) it rubber banded like craZzzzyy out of the driveway. All this happened within like 2 or 3 seconds.

I fear for my CVT :(

It's my favorite season :) Starting to get really cool out in western New York. Temps starting to get in the 50s and 40s. Almost time to put the winters back on. Going to remove the JDP lip too - hopefully it comes off in one piece xD

It snowed last week. Just a light dusting. And then yesterday it was 70 degrees. What the hell :rotfl: Damn lake effect weather. Well, still have the Advans on and am enjoying them while I can! When they come off, so is the JDP front lip. Hopefully it comes off in one piece :blink: (remember my off-road excursion at the Dragon this year?)

Went to the dealer last week for an oil change. Waiting in the break room, one of the techs brings me a steering wheel garnish and asks if I want it. I said hell yes lol! I can paint it red and swap it in ;)

Wow Holly, that trim's scratched just like mine was after the air bag replacement. Not quite as deep of a scratch, but same place, same length, same shape.:crying:

How do you like the T1R mirrors? Do you find that they help driving at night?

I was debating getting them.. because driving at night around here sucks sometimes! Other peoples lights behind me kill my eyes, and was thinking the blue tint on these would help with the glare like my spoon mirror does.

Your heated mirrors still work with these right?

I also have the T1R and they are great to have. Helps with the blind spot. If I remember correctly, they do minimize the glare due to the blue tint. The heating feature can't be attached to the T1R without doing some modification.

@realtallshorty did one for her CR-Z: http://www.crzforum.com/forum/do-yo...ex-heated-side-mirrors-w-led-turn-signal.html

I love my T1R mirrors. I would be so sad if I couldn't use them anymore. I'd be a fish without water.

I don't find any improvement with glare, personally. But of course I only drove around with stock mirrors for a few days, and that was 4 years ago... once in a while I get blinded

Heated mirrors do not work. I just tucked the wires in the back.

Winter mode is fully engaged. Over the weekend I had a permanent undercoating applied by Ziebart, guaranteed/warranted for the life of my CRZ. Also every year they apply a parafin wax to bare sheet metal under the hood, wheel wells, also in door jams etc. It's all outgassing right now so my car really stinks lol! I am soooo happy to have finally had this done. No more worrying about road salt! (Mostly)

Got a foot of snow two nights ago - first "storm" of the season. Weather men were saying 2-4 inches, so a foot was very unexpected. I didn't have time to shovel, so I just plowed my way out of the driveway! I haven't had a chance to take the JDP lip off yet

Current feels: it's ****ing cold by the Great Lakes today
Yeah, we know your pain here in the midwest!

Love the color accents on your car. Are the front radiator grill 3 horizontal slats separate pieces or are the grill/slats all one piece? Wondering if the 3 horizontal slats could be retro fitted to my 2016. But that's ok, you do not have to check until it is warmer.

Also, nice shopping cart collection you have there :thumbup:

Lol thank you. I wasn't parked there long ^^;

I know you can buy the slats thing as a whole piece. The license plate thing is separate to it. How it clips into the grill though I am not sure of. Would need to look at a parts diagram

Grill with slats is one piece. I know based on my accident where the bumper was replaced but the grill was not. The license plate mount is drilled into the grill into reinforced bosses built into the grill.:nerd:
