Hey, just joined and figured I'd do this introduction thing. I'm Austin but everyone calls me Sid. A friend I met at a local cars and coffee event told me about the CR-Z forms so I figured why not finally just join. I've had my 2011 Honda CR-Z since December of 2020. It's a pretty nice car and I enjoy Sport mode on these twisty backroads of Virginia a bit too much at times 😅

I'm really surprised this site doesn't have a vin number match to show the Vin of everyone's car but maybe it does and I just haven't found it yet. I'm no stranger to Honda's, as this is my seventh Honda. I prefer 90's cars the most but the cr-z is still very enjoyable. Here's some pics of the car, it's completely stock.

Welcome! Good looking car!
Hey everyone,
I'm an English teacher in Gunma, Japan (the location of Initial D haha). I currently have a black 2010 CR-Z that I picked up here when I arrived last October. I've enjoyed reading through some of the posts here on this forum during my downtime, and I'm hoping to get some legit JDM parts for my car while I'm in Japan. So far all I've bought are some Rays United Arrow wheels and a Mugen shifter knob. If possible, I'd like to ship my car back to America when I move back.

I attached a couple pictures I took at a shrine near my apartment.

Also, is there anyone else in this forum that's in Japan (preferably in the the Kanto region) that knows of any car meets or other events around here? I know that Ebisu circuit is in Tochigi, but that's about it. View attachment 66971 View attachment 66972
Welcome! Love those wheels!

Welcome! A VIN match feature might be a little too personal for some.

Hi guys, new on here today.im Richard, had the crz a good few months.had an issue after the first week, abs light and vsr light on.but a brand new battery seems to have sorted that(fingers crossed) the old one started the car,but after looking around and actually testing the battery one of the cells were nearly dry of acid,so opted for a new one and so far so good.ive done the jazz manifold,R18 throttle body and cai.that has made reasonable differences.im quite amazed that such a nice looking car seems to lack so much in upgrades for the engine like turbo kits etc.will hopefully be able to find something soon.anyway hi from UK England!!

Hi, I’m SkyeKull! I got my 2012 CR-Z EX CVT back in October and it’s been my daily driver ever since. I didn’t know I could love a car this much, and my spouse has had a 2007 Civic SI for about a year and a half with a K20 engine and quite a loud purr. I bought my Z with a nice intake and a giant muffler welded on it, so even though it’s quieter than the SI, I’m proudly the owner of the second loudest car in the neighborhood. I just changed out all the interior lights last weekend to match my pink fogs and plan on possibly switching up the exhaust system down the road for a stronger growl. I spent today giving her a wax so she’s especially shiny at the moment. I’ve been a lurker on this forum since I bought the car, but just now got around to making an account. I’m happy to finally be participating!

Hi Gareth and welcome to the Forum. Been watching your vids for a while now and have been enjoying the progress being made with the car.
Hey, thank you so much for following my channel and my build, means the world to me.
Hey im Gareth.
New here but not to the CRZ or Honda. Im a massive Honda enthusiast from the UK. Currently at the time of this post ive owned 85 Honda cars and a few Honda motorcycles. Owned my CRZ for almost 3 years now. Some of you may know me or have seen some of my videos on Youtube. I run a channel called Expression Culture.

Hi there, thank you so much for your support. It genuinely means so much to me. Such an incredible feeling finding out other crz owners watch my videos. If i could ask one thing and thats to comment. I love interacting with my followers and its a good way of me seeing whos actually watching
Hi guys! I've had my CR-Z since last year and finally worked the laziness out of me enough to make an account here. Been a lurker for a while reading all the useful info the whole community posts. I just love this car and finally found the right Honda for me after having had so many different ones in the past (91 CRX, 99 RD1 CR-V, 02 Civic, 07 Si, 14 Civic and finally this 15 CR-Z!). My 2015 is a 6 speed EX.

Stuff I've done so far includes:
  • Got lucky and locally sourced unused HPD wheels
  • Scored a SC from a member here and recently finished installing it with the piggyback temporarily and its been great! The Sprintex thread was a great source to read through. (Picture below is before I was finished but had it running the first time after some hiccups fabricating a fuel line adapter)
  • Small vanity things like the LED interior and door lights, floor liners, caliper coating, and pioneer head unit with steering controls

Future plans include the HPD suspension (or BC), some AEM exhaust I am currently fixing to install with the stock mid-pipe, and I HOPE I can someday find an oem black armrest.

I`ve been a member since May 2019 and thought it was about time I posted some pics of my 2010 GT.

I purchased this in 2019 . It had 25k miles and a full Honda service history. It now has 31k miles . It's only taken out on dry days. Oil changed annually. No issues.
The previous owner (2 in total) had the car fitted with every extra available at that time, excluding armrest.

I just love this car.

Lovely looking CR-Z! Did you powder coat the wheels? I thought the OEM 17 inch wheels have a machined front area.

Two wheels were in a poor state when I went to view the car. The dealer offered to refurbish them. Later he rang me with an option to have all wheels refurbished . I suppose this was a cost issue. Win , win...

Greetings from the Midlands in the UK. Took the plunge and bought my first CR-Z, 2011 GT. If it's as reliable as my old 06 plated Accord 2.2 CDTi (137k miles from new with no issues) it'll be bullet proof. No firm plans for any upgrades at the moment other than perhaps a replacement double din headunit.

What's up from Tennessee!

I told myself that i'd pick up a hatchback one day, and this past year I made the purchase of my 2011 CRZ!

I've always loved the crx and eg hatches, so this car satisfies a bit of both loves. Gotta say, compared to my other cars i've had, it's slow as dog shit. Still love it though and don't have any plans to modify it; I got out of the car game in pursuit of my career.

Buuutttt.... time and place; and when that time comes, I'd love to go forced induction route.

Here are a quick 2 pics of her after a recent wash.

Hello everyone! One enthusiast based in west sussex.I just joined after nearly 2 years owning one of that jewels. I'm more than happy with it, it's the gt with sat-nav and all the extras. The only downside is that was categorised as cat N after a hit on the passenger side and the lights need it to be replace for aftermarket ones, but apart from that, the car is top nocht! Im always in for a meeting with other users!
I've got in mind to do some upgrades, like better soundproofing, changing liquids, deep clean interior, etc. but not only I've got other vehicle.
Happy to discuss and chat!

Hi all, newbie here too - just signed up and can't wait to get stuck in to battery charging, hints, tips and stereo upgrades - it seems like a minefield!

I've just replaced a written off diesel Volvo with a 2011 CR-Z GT with lots of bits:

Horizon Turquoise Pearl
Dynamic+ pack
Glow pack
Nav
Electra 17s

I have wanted one of these since first seeing a white one with red leather at a motor show when they first launched. I'm deeply impressed with the drive so far, and am in the process of fitting android auto.

The problem is, i've started spotting them EVERYWHERE! :)

Welcome! I like your colour! In my area there are one like the grey, and I saw one in white. I hope you enjoy but dont get too crazy, give a few months to spot the problems might have. Unfortunately, nothing is cheap with that car.
