Hey all. i havent gotten my CRZ yet. But it will come soon! its on order right now and they are trying to find one for me. Hopefully in the next few days.

So my last car was an 8th gen civic. It was a bag, a lemon, so i got rid of it and got the car i really wanted. There are some people here from 8thcivic, hi to you guys. Also i was an active member on JDMRides.ca i doubt theres anyone on here from JDMR but if there are hi to yous guys.

Heres a pic of the last one, i like to take pics so hopefully theres a few good ones of the CRZ once i get it. But alas, winter is coming.

Hope that my CRZ experience is a little better than my last civic. This upcoming spring im gonna look into some 17x8 rotas with some azenis at the minimum. the 195's on this car are pizza cutters for sure. :giggle:

the civic had many issues. The worst was this front creaking sound when driving, going over bumps, speedbumps, dips in the road. It was pretty bad. I ended up having two honda techs drive out with me at different times, and it go in to the shop about 5 times to get it fixed. the 4th time it hasnt been fixed at all. and its going in for the 5th on trade in.

Rims corroded after 10K, never wintered, no salt. Wiper actuator grenaded randomly, honda underspray was so messy it went up the side of the car. Had to go in to the dealership twice to get it removed properly. It had just been driven into twice in the last month, in the exact same spot.

the list goes on. the car is cursed/lemon. Im glad to get rid of it. I didnt even really want the civic anyways. I needed a car when i got it and i couldnt afford the genesis when i was shopping.

I love the CRZ though, i dont have it yet, and its already saving me money. My insurance is already almost 70 dollars cheaper a month!

Gotta say that photo makes it look like you were parked in some old industrial complex for nefarious reasons... perhaps buying crack, meeting up for some illicit romantic engagement, hooking up with the dude who was dealing a bunch of stuff that "fell" off the back of a truck, dealing with a shady source of the latest Christmas hit toy that is sold in stores but can be had for three times the normal sale price, purchasing some strange and exotic pet that's illegal to own, etc.!

OK, seriously now. What year is your 8th gen Civic? Hope you don't have much longer to wait for your CR-Z... what color?

haha laugh for the morning!, That factory in the background is actually an old old train factory used back in the day, it burned down though in the last 5 years, so some of the factory is exposed and so haggard looking. I LOVE hanging out there. there is so much to view and appreciate. I love the detail of the rust and the decay. As kids we used to break into that place and take pictures. It was VERY cool. then they started getting railway cops to come and bust us since the factory is still right by an active rail line.

The 8th gen was a 2009. It was new new, hence why i was so frustrated with the problems to get rid of it so soon. It was an EX-L, top of the line under the Si.

My CRZ is just the canadian version, i would assume equivalent to the US EX with a few extras? shes coming in PWP, Ive always wanted a white car, but i couldnt get the civic in white. So im very excited to get the car i want!
