Handbrake lights comes even if the handbrake is down Help !

Hi guys, facing an issue with my crz. The handbrake light stays on even if the handbrake is down. After driving for some while it blinks and it keeps on going on and off. Sometimes it stays off sometimes it just keeps coming and going. Kindly advise
