I’m going to have to change the lower control arms on my 2011 cr-z. Bad ball joints. Reading the manual I see I will need a ball joint tool to Separate the ball joint pin from its mounting hole.
it’s hard to measure without the arm off but I think this tool will fit.
has anyone any experience with this. Will it fit?
thanks

That's I think the exact model that AutoZone uses in their loaner tool menu, which I've used on my CRZ.

I've since bought this and used it repeatedly on the CRZ and on my MDX

The gearwrench tool is:
Slot is 7/8" wide by 1-1/4" Deep

The Honda tool is--the one I've used:
Slot is 1-1/16" wide by 1-1/4" Deep

There is also a cost free way of seperating the arm from the hub, undo the inner bolts from the arm disconnecting it from the underside of the car, swing the arm round so it's
now easily accessed and no longer under the car, put a block or an axle stand on the hub and then give the arm a clean hit with the hammer onto a small block of wood, it shouldn't
need much force but even if you damaged the the arm it wont matter if you are replacing them.
